Whistleblower Policy

Article I: Purpose

This policy aims to encourage employees and volunteers to report suspected or actual unlawful activities, dishonesty, or violations of organizational policies, without fear of retaliation.

Article II: Reporting Responsibility

Employees and volunteers should report suspected violations to their immediate supervisor or another member of the executive team.

Article III: No Retaliation

Any employee or volunteer who reports a violation will not suffer harassment, retaliation, or adverse employment consequences.

Article IV: Reporting Procedure

  1. Internal Reporting: Concerns should be reported through internal channels, like supervisors or human resources.
  2. External Reporting: If not resolved internally, individuals may report to appropriate external authorities.

Article V: Confidentiality

Reports will be kept confidential to the extent possible.

Article VI: Handling of Reported Violations

The executive team will investigate all reported concerns.

Article VII: Compliance Officer

An appointed compliance officer is responsible for ensuring the policy’s implementation and addressing reported concerns.

Article VIII: Review and Updates

This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as needed.
